Microwave Treat Short Stories – # 2 Drywoods at Mega Apartment complex

Mega apartment complex saves money and life’s – thanks to microwave treatment

During June swarming season somewhere in Los Angeles County Ca., Checked exterior of a 500 unit mega two story apartment complex. Drywood termites identified at 215 exterior unit locations. Majority of areas located at first and second story balcony wood siding and framing.

Total area fume estimate was 6 million cubic foot at a cost of half a million dollars, not to mention the associations cost to house tenants elsewhere during the fumigation process. In lieu of fumigation, the apartment owners association was also given a quote of $80,000 for microwave treatment of all areas of dry wood termite evidence visually and non visually apparent, a two year complete termite treatment warranty and a year to year termite control service policy thereafter at the annual starting cost of $10,000.00.

The association went with the microwave termite treatment and it was performed without any problems in 10 working days total with a crew of two and only one microwave treatment generator.

The conclusion of this large treatment was no deaths or illnesses associated with poison gas treatments, happy tenants that did not need to leave their apartments overnight or worry about contaminated food products after treatment and an overly happy apartment association who now regularly refer other commercial accounts.

This job grossed a considerable company profit of which continues to this date to come in annually from the ongoing control service policy. A total of one to two days a year and sometimes three are spent by a crew of two servicing the entire mega property under the control agreement.

Microwave termite treatment is truly a life saving, money making, safe alternative to multi unit commercial whole structure poison gas fumigation.

We have door frames in a number of houses in Ireland with false powder post beetles can you tell me if your equipment can kill these beetle without taking out the door frames how long will it take to treat each frame. We also want to check the other houses with these frames can your equipment identify the frames that are effected but as yet have no flight holes. Is there anybody in Ireland or Europe with this equipment and expertise to deal with this problem? Look forward to your reply.
Martin.

Wavelength Reply:
Hello Martin,
Our device is labeled for true and false powder post beetles as well as other wood pests and wood destroying fungi.

I have attached a copy of device label and operators manual for your viewing to better understand how treatment is performed.

Device highly successful in killing beetles in door casings, flooring wood siding up to depths of 6 inches etc.

I will check the stats on our C02 termite detection device for its effectiveness on locating wood boring beetles, as it successfully locates termites and bedbugs within hidden wall areas via pests co2 emissions.

You are welcome to become sole distributor in Ireland; we have made no sales there. Most sales in USA, a recent system purchased from Germany.

We look forward to serving all your Microwave pest treatment needs,
Best Regards,

Since you include a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher, that means it could cause a fire. How likely is this to happen, or what are the conditions that could cause it?

Wavelength e-mail reply:
Hello Mario,
Pleased to answer your question.
Any application performed without following the field safety treatment procedures can lead to temperatures that can cause a fire.
During treatment procedures, everything is continually monitored for safety and for treatment effectiveness.

The fire safety devices are provided for safety. It is best to always be prepared for the possible.
To Date: No fires have been reported created due to Microwave treatment application with the Wavelength System.

Thank You for your Inquiry
